Twenty seven year old Jade Goody was transferred to the oncology unit of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital today from London’s Royal Marsden for an operation meant to relieve her of a terrible pain in the stomach. Jade wants to go back to her Essex home but may have to stay in the hospital for some days after the operation. Further treatment will be done at the Royal Marsden hospital after the operation.

The reality TV star has terminal cervical cancer and was shifted to Royal Marsden in ambulance last night from St. Clare Hospice in Essex. Her sons Bobby, 5, and Freddie, 4, may visit her in the hospital if she is not too unwell and does not have too much pain.

Jade was under heavy medication and said incoherent sentences and slurred on her words, according to a hospital source. She has said she wants to hurry up her christening at a church close to her home fearing she does not have too much time left. She has also spoken about her funeral, wanting to be buried and not cremated and has even told friends what songs she wants at the funeral. It is reported that her prognosis is two to four weeks but her health is deteriorating rapidly and it is difficult to say how long she can hold it out.

Bishop Jonathan Blake, who had earlier performed Jade’s wedding with Jack Tweed is expected to oversee both the baptism and the funeral. Meanwhile former partner Jeff Brazier has been spending a lot of time with Jade’s sons and will have custody of the two boys after her.
