London, March 23 (IANS) British reality TV star Jade Goody’s funeral will be a “Jade Goody Production”, publicist Max Clifford said Monday.
“Jade wanted a celebration of her life. It will be very much a Jade Goody Production with Jade doing her own thing her own way,” he said.

Clifford said Goody had originally given the job of planning the funeral to one of her bridesmaids.

“But within a minute she was saying she didn’t want that and she did want this and how she wanted it to be. It will be a celebration, but of course there will be a lot of tears,” he said.

Goody, Britain’s best-known reality TV star, died of cervical cancer early Sunday morning at the age of 27.

Clifford said the funeral will include a service at Goody’s local church near her home in the village of Upshire in southeast England and a procession through the nearby town of Loughton.

He said the funeral would be a public celebration, adding: “She died the way she lived.”

Plans for the burial site were still being finalized, and the funeral is likely to take place in the next 10 days, the publicist said.

Friend and photographer Danny Hayward said the service will be an “open” affair with opportunities for fans to pay their respects.
