Dec 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Unlike kids of her age, it seems that Willow Smith does not have to go into confrontation with her parents over the rules imposed on her. Jada Pinkett Smith, her mom claimed that she and her actor husband Will Smith try to stay away from imposing rules on their children. The couple rather believe in guiding them through life. She said that they do not have rules, but come up with agreements. She went on to say that kids are small people, and parents must guide them. It is never possible to rule anybody, and the same is applicable to children as well.

Instead, Jada Pinkett Smith explained that she and her actor husband always attempt to reach an amicable solution with their children whenever they get involved in any kind of fights. Although the recent revelation by Will Smith’s wife has attracted the ire of other parents who believe in disciplining his kids when required, the celebrity couple seem to have full faith on their different approach. In the interview, Jada Pinkett Smith also talked about an incident when Willow Smith decided to open a profile on a social networking site despite being asked not to do so. However, the celebrity mom did not lose her temper but asked her daughter instead what should be done to which Willow Smith herself came up with the solution to take her computer away for a month. However, Jada Pinkett Smith admits says that she’s not always perfect and has her own share of mistakes but added that she is doing her best.

Jada Pinkett Smith told a certain magazine that because of her background and the industry she works in, her daughter does require some guidance. So it is important to make her understand the difference between the good and the bad, through negotiations, Will Smith’s wife went on to say.
