London, Oct 20 (IANS) Hollywood actress Jaclyn Smith has called on celebrity blogger Perez Hilton to apologise for going public with an erroneous story suggesting she had shot herself.
Hilton’s article suggested that the “Charlie’s Angel” star shot herself while on vacation in Honduras, but the actress denied this. Smith said she was “safe and home with her family”, contactmusic.com reports.

“My son was working that day and people came up to him and said, ‘Your mom, your mom…’ He said, ‘I just talked to my mom!’ He knows me, he knows I wouldn’t have done something like that. But you don’t wanna hear that,” said Smith.
