Jackson’s glove, shoe to be cemented at Grauman Theater

Michael Jackson London, Jan 7 (IANS) Late pop legend Michael Jackson will be honoured with an imprint of his shoes and famous sequinned glove outside Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood.

The King of Pop’s three children, his mother Katherine and other members of the Jackson family will help cement the late singer’s place in history during a ceremony Jan 26, reports contactmusic.com.

Michael’s prints will stand alongside those of stars George Clooney, Marilyn Monroe, Gene Kelly, Clint Eastwood and Brad Pitt.

The cast of Cirque de Soleil’s Jackson tribute show, The Immortal World Tour, will also be on hand for the celebration and his brother Jackie Jackson has revealed members of the family will perform for fans at the event.

“It’s going to be an exciting day,” Jackie told Access Hollywood.
