Jackson fans to spend a night amongst his possessions

The pop star’s fans are planning to spend the night of June 25 at the Tokyo Tower with his collections. The lucky fans would be selected randomly from around the world. The practice of spending the first anniversary of the dead person with his belongings is very common in Japan, according to the ceremony organizers.
The organizers of the event said that the guests would pay $1,000 for the chance to sleep in the possessions of the celebrated singer. Michael Jackson died at the age of 50, from cardiac arrest. His death on 25, June 2009 sent shockwaves through the whole world. Michael Jackson died less than 48 hours, after the singer was filmed rehearsing for his show in the United Kingdom.
Michael Jackson’s death shocked his fans and he became all the more commercially successful post his death. A documentary on the singer ‘This Is It’ achieved instant success and fame. It was released worldwide and was a major money-spinner.
Organizers said that some Michael Jackson fans have been visiting the venue daily and some even stayed for up to 6 hours or more.
