Jackie Chan to star in The Karate Kid remake

Washington, Jan 14 (ANI): Hollywood actor Jackie Chan is in final talks to star in the remake of “The Karate Kid.”
The film to be helmed by Harald Zwart is the starring vehicle for Will Smiths son Jaden.
It has been revamped and will borrow elements of the original 1984 pic, reports the Variety.
The story revolves around a bullied youth (Smith) learns to stand up for himself with the help of an eccentric mentor (Chan).
Chris Murphy has penned the screenplay.
