Jackie Chan to play Mr. Miyagi in Karate Kid remake?

Washington, Jan 16 (ANI): Hollywood actor Jackie Chan is reportedly in negotiations to play the role of Mr. Miyagi in a remake of The Karate Kid.
Chan is in talks with a movie studio to appear as Mr. Miyagi originally played by the venerable Pat Morita.
The new Karate Kid is gathering even more attention as Chans student in flick is being portrayed by Will Smith’’s son, Jaden Smith, according to Variety.
The plot of new Karate Kid would be similar to the original, except it will be shot in China instead of California.
The movie is expected to start shooting in Beijing this summer, reports People magazine. (ANI)
