November 9, 2010 (Pen Men At Work): Actor Jackie Chan will reportedly open a film museum which houses cherished objects from all the films that he has been a part of in the course of his elaborate career. To be known as the ‘Jackie Chan World’, the museum will showcase items ranging from props to costumes and the actor’s personal crockery collection for fans to take a look at the mementos which have been a part of the actor’s personal world ever since he became a part of the film world.

In a statement made to the media, Jackie Chan says that the reason behind his opening his personal museum is that he not only wants his fans to take a glimpse of his inner world, but also get rid of the unnecessary things that have formed a clutter inside his house, things which make it impossible for him to trace the things which he requires everyday. The ‘Jackie Chan World’ will thus be another personal space of the actor, just like his house in Hong Kong.

The 56 year old actor has come a long way in his career and has successfully graduated from just another ‘karate kid’ to one of the highest earning and popular actors in the history of cinema. And now that Jackie Chan has a bank balance that he can boast of, the actor says that he wants the balance to show the ‘zero figure’ at the time of his death. Is that why he is investing in the ‘Jackie Chan World’? Though we are not sure, his fans will be waiting for the museum unveiling.
