Jackass Pranksters Ban Women From Their Stunts
November 13th, 2010 - 3:15 am ICT by Angela Kaye MasonNov 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The pranksters from the movie “Jackass” have decided to ban women from doing stunts for their shows, after being devastated when a female friend was injured while performing a “Jackass” stunt.
The stars of the shows and movies are popular for their ridiculously dangerous and wild antics. Johnny Knoxville and his colleagues hired Coyote Ugly actress Stephani Hodge to perform skits in both Jackass, and it’s sequel.
But the young actress was injured while filming a very daring and shocking scene, and the male Jackass members decided that there would be no more females performing stunts for their shows.
Knox ville told the story to ‘Elle’ magazine, stating, “We had a girl on the show from time to time, Stephanie Hodge. She’s a great friend of ours and she got hurt doing a stunt once and so we decided no more girls doing stunts. Not that they can’t - just in Jackass, because we all hated feeling that way.”
