Jack Guisso to showcase last fashion collection at CFW

August 24, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Lebanese designer Jack Guisso will soon be presenting his newest set of romantic feminine creations at the very popular Couture Fashion Week on a Sunday at 6:00 p.m. on the 12th of September 2010. The fashion show will be hosted in the very renowned Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf-Astoria on Park Avenue in New York City.
After earning a degree in business in Beirut, from where he hails, Jack Guisso went on to follow his dad’s footsteps as a couture fashion designer. He was accompanied by a trio of brothers; he soon opened his first ever shop way back in the year 1975 and the fashions were sold under the label of “Les Amis” in their own boutique and also at a total of eleven other stores spread throughout Lebanon.
In the year 1996 Mr. Guisso launched his very own haute couture line under the name of “Sarafia” label. His wonderful and feminine evening gowns were crafted out of the finest fabrics and showcased hand embroidery and scrupulous craftsmanship and all of them soon became favorites among the Middle Eastern celebrities and socialites. He has since publicized his collections on a variety of runways in places as diverse as Paris, Spain, Italy and USA.
By the year 2002, the brand was ready to enlarge and the designs are now accepted by several stores in, Dubai, Riyadh, Cairo, London, Paris, Milan, Amman and New York, amongst other cities.
