Washington, Jan 11 (ANI): Jack Black has signed on to star in Columbia’s biblical-era comedy “Year One.”
Playing his love interest in the pic will be Olivia Wilde who plays the role of Princess Inanna.
Also part of the Harold Ramis-directed movie are Michael Cera, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Oliver Platt, David Cross, Vinnie Jones, Juno Temple and June Raphael.
Ramis, who is directing the pic from a screenplay penned by Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg, is also producing along with Judd Apatow.
The pic is based on a story written by Ramis himself, reports Variety.
On board as executive producer is actor Owen Wilson, who recently signed up to star in his first movie after his suicide bid last year.
The movie is currently in pre-production. Shooting will take place in New Mexico and Louisiana. (ANI)
