The popular Bengali television actors Jack and Mousumi, who played couple in the mega-serial ‘Ki Ashai Bandhi Khelaghar’, are going to be real life husband and wife on March 11. After having a great on-screen chemistry on the show, the couple is going to take it ahead in real life too.
Confirming the news, Jack says that they will tie the knot on March 11 and it is going to be a registry marriage. The actor added that they have dating for a year after starting the relationship on the sets of the serial. They are looking forward to a new start of their life.
Mousumi started her career as an actress with ‘Ki Ashai Bandhi Khelaghar’ and is extremely happy with this development. Initially, she started as a model and got her first break as an actress with this serial. She says that it’s a completely different feeling to get married with Jack. She informs that they will organize a joint reception on March 12 following their marriage.
The actress further says that Jack has been very busy with his shooting, so they could not go for a joint shopping yet. She says that she has only purchased their engagement rings as she is also keeping busy with her two serials ‘Kajari’ and ‘Bhorer Khub Kache’.
Mousumi says that there was no filmy proposal from Jack but the relation developed as he helped her a lot in the initial days of her career in the industry. They became good friends and then suddenly one day he proposed marriage and she definitely said ‘yes’.
Their busy schedule is keeping them away from any honeymoon plans for now. However, Mousumi says that her elder sister stays in Japan so they are planning to visit her during Puja and that will be their honeymoon.
The bride is going to wear a red benarasi with traditional make-up for the wedding day. She will put on a red and gold dhakai jamdani for the reception while Jack will go for a Sherwani.
We wish the couple a very happy married life in advance!
