New York, Nov 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Italian automaker Fiat recently unveiled series of ads featuring singer Jennifer Lopez. In one of the ads titled “My World,” J. Lo can be seen driving through the New York City neighborhood of Bronx.

Fiat declared that the singer was inspired by her former neighborhood (J. Lo grew up on the streets of Bronx). There seems to be a problem with that because The Smoking Gun has reported that it was not J. Lo who drove to the neighborhood in the ad. The report claims that the singer was in Los Angeles during the filming of the particular scene in Bronx so the inspiration stuff doesn’t come in.

That leaves the question as to who was then driving the Fiat 500 car in that ad. The Smoking Gun claims that two sources close to the production of the ad have admitted that it was a body double of the singer that was used for the commercial.

The report quoted a resident who said he witnessed the ad being shot at the neighborhood. 46-year-old Eligio Cueto could be seen barbering in the video as the car drove by.

He told the website that, “But it wasn’t her. It was a double that looked like her.”

Cueto was paid $1800 for appearing in the commercial.
