October 29, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Halloween is round the corner and the US citizens are more than happy to shop for their Halloween costumes. As we know that Halloween is celebrated by the young and the old alike, every American is more than happy discussing about the latest trends and the costumes that they will sport to celebrate Halloween. And when the common man is prepared to shop for costumes, the retailer will definitely make merry of this opportunity. So apparel sellers across the United States are preparing themselves for introducing various offers that will draw shoppers to their stores.
And while Indians are eagerly waiting to celebrate Diwali next month, the Americans, too, are embracing themselves for the Halloween and Black Friday weekend at the end of November. In fact, several shopping websites have launched attractive offers which the Americans can avail sitting at home just at the click of a button.
So din’t we hear just a few days ago that the US was hard hit by the recession? Not any more, we would say.
