We are talking about the new girl of Balaji fame, Sumana Das who is essaying one of the lead in Sony’s Bayttaab Dil Kee Tamanna Hai. The actress feels her character in the show is similar to that of Kareena in the film Atraaz.

“Yes my character is more similar to that of Kareena in Atraaz. The only funda of Shamoli is there she believes that there is only shortcut to achieve and get successful in life,” says Sumana.

Elaborating more on her role she says, “She is not negative and will definitely not take any wrong way but it’s just that her principle in life is different to what her sisters think about leading a life.”

Not many people know that Sumana debuted on television with Kya Mast Hai Life which was a Balaji production. “I was playing a parallel lead in the show but after it went off air, I waited for the right opportunity to come my way. By the grace of god I am coming back again with the same production house,” she converse.

“For now I would only like to work with Balaji Telefilms as it’s a great platform for the new comers. Hope people to like me in the show,” concludes the actress.
