Italian filmmaker’s book published in Arabic
November 3rd, 2010 - 11:01 pm ICT by IANSAbu Dhabi, Nov 3 (IANS/WAM) The book “Fare un Film” (making a film) written by Italian director Federico Fellini has been published in Arabic.
The 231-page book, translated by Egypt-born Italian Naji Rizq and Algerian journalist Suhaila Taibi, highlights the impact of Fellini (1920-1993) on the world cinema. The chapters include: “The self-witnessing of scenes”, “The film industry”, “An interesting book” and “A list of films.”
Director and screenwriter Fellini, who began his career as journalist, is considered to be one of the most influential filmmakers in the world. He achieved great fame from films like “La Dolce Vita” and “Amarcord”.
