IT Department Seizes Katrina’s Computer To Collect Data

In the latest developments of the Income Tax fiasco involving actresses Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif, the IT officials have seized the computer of Katrina. They want to collect more data related to the tax evasion suspicions.
The income Tax officials had raided the homes of these two actresses on Monday 24th January 2011. The raids were conducted at 7.30 a.m. According to reports, both of them did quite a number of shows last year and both have not declared huge sums of money that they earned through those shows. The amount could up to Rs.6.Crore. Further reports mention that crore of rupees were recovered from their homes.
The IT department will look into Katrina and Priyanka’s bank accounts and also interrogate their business managers. The income tax department suspects that both Katrina and Priyanka might be guilty of tax evasion on the money that they have procured from foreign stage shows, guest appearances and several brand endorsements. Neither Priyanka, nor Katrina has commented about these raids.
The raids were conducted at former Miss-World Priyanka Chopra’s apartment in suburban Versova and Katrina’s apartment in suburban Bandra. Apart from this the officials have also raided the Lokhandwala residence of Priyanka’s father Ashok Chopra. Raids were also conducted at the Matrix Talent Management Company, which managed Katrina’s finances and photographer Atul Kasbekar’s premises was also raided along with the premises of his company Bling Entertainment Solutions, Kasbekar was previously the owner of Matrix.
While the two actresses remained silent about the whole issue, according to some recent reports Katrina is upset about the news.
