Isabella Rossellini to chair jury at next year’s Berlin Film Festival
August 31st, 2010 - 2:13 pm ICT by ANILondon, Aug 31 (ANI): Italian-American actress and director Isabella Rossellini to head the Berlin Film Festival jury next year.
The organizers of the festival have announced the news, reports the BBC.
The 2011 festival is due to take place from February 10-20.
Rossellinie, 58, showcased her directorial debut at the German event in 2008.
Festival director Dieter Kosslick called her “a multi-faceted, creative film artist”.
Other members of the panel, who will decide prizes including the main Golden Bear, have yet to be announced.
Film director Werner Herzog led this year’s judging panel. (ANI)
