Isabella Rossellini Receives Achievement In Cinema Award

Nov 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Versatile talented filmmaker and actress Isabella Rossellini excels both in front and at the back of camera. Recently she was awarded with a coveted Achievement in Cinema Award by the Savannah College of Art and Design. The honor was bestowed on her for her outstanding achievement in films. The icing on the cake was the premiere of her latest film named “Seduce Me.” which was shown at the Savannah Film Festival. Apart from donning the greasepaint, the talented lady has also earned fame as a model and author in her illustrious career. However, her genes also contribute to her talent. She is the daughter of noted director Roberto Rossellini and stalwart actress Ingrid Bergman.
Isabella Rossellini has acted in over 40 films including the cult “Blue Velvet” which got rave reviews. She also won some awards for her performance in this film. She also acted in a number of TV programs and won nomination for Emmy and Golden Globe in her career. She is an animal lover too and that explains why she decided to make the film “Seduce Me” which is basically a series of nature inspired movies. She is happy that it was shown at the Savannah Film Festival.
The film shows the mating rituals of various types of creatures from insects to fish species. She is now busy working for ‘Planet Green’ of Discovery Network. The imminent filmmaker said in a recent interview that the film are not vulgar in any way but they are funny. The film is going to be shown in a number of other film festivals in the upcoming days, as it has been reported.
