Is Vijay’s ‘Sura’, a remake of ‘Chota Mumbai’?

Buzz is that Vijay’s 50th film titled “Sura’ is loosely based on Mohan Lal’s blockbuster “Chota Mumbai’. Though, Vijay has got a song to be completed for “Vettaikaran’, he has started to work for SP Rajkumar’s directorial venture “Sura’.
The film is produced by Sangli Murugan; who earlier made Vijay’s “Kadhalukku Mariyadhai’ that features Thamannah starring opposite him. Earlier, Vijay had mentioned that he is in “Chota Mumbai’ and that has gradually evoked suspicions amongst media channels on finding the real facts. Nonetheless, director SP Rajkumar has refused to reveal anything on the film’s storyline.
Vijay enacts the role of fisherman and Thamannah as his ladylove.The film is being shot across the coastal areas of Kerala.
