Is the future of Shakuntala in danger? Moti Sagar’s Shakuntala on Star One has just started off on the channel. This eternal and periodic love story which was much hyped is all set to go off air. The show is of late giving TRP’s and thus channel has given them the ultimatum for this month only.

When contacted Moti Sagar of Sagar Pictures, he stated, “There is nothing like that. At least I have not heard this news.”

One of the source from channel confirmed that, “Yes its true that the show has got warning. The story hasn’t been shaping well and on top of that the lead actress Neha Mehta is giving tough time.”

The buzz is that Neha will be soon replaced. “I have no idea about it please ask the production house,” says the actress. Though the producer also denied the rumour stating that, “She is still there with us”.

It was recently reported that Neha had been showing tantrums on the sets which has affected the shoot too. “She is staying out of Mumbai and had demanded few things which were viable. But I don’t know what problem is there between her and production house,” verbalizes a person close to Neha.

The person from the channel conversed that, “There are two new shows of Star One coming up. Thus the channel is deciding to put one of them in 9:30 pm slot. Though, nothing has been decided as yet.”

The time will only decide the fate of the show. So let’s see whether it stays or goes off air.
