Is Sona’s ‘Odu Macchi Odu’ dropped?

Recently, we had the news about Sona inking a deal with Premji Amaran for her next project that is likely set to start rolling by December. Meanwhile, we hear that her first production “Odu Macchi Odu’ has been dropped due to financial constraints.
The film features Jailani, Swetha in lead roles with German model Gladia as the female lead. This film was supposed to be shot in unique locations across Chennai, Pondicherry, Vizag, France and Germany…
Closer sources had stated that the budget crossed across Rs.10 Crores. It’s reported that Germany based supermodel Gladia has charged a big sum as her remuneration.
Now, Sona is busy involved in the preproduction works of her next untitled film with Premji Amaran. She has planned to produce more films under the banner of “UNIQ PRODUCTIONS’.
