Is Rihanna going to be a guest judge on X Factor?

The singer had a memorable appearance on the UK version of the show last year. Though it has not been confirmed what she will be doing on the show, several media reports suggest that she will be a guest judge when she appears.
The show is the brainchild of music mogul Simon Cowell. This is the first season of the show in the United States. It is exclusive to FOX and the finals will start airing on the network from the 21st of September.
Industry website TMZ reported that Cowell decided to get Rihanna on the US version of the show following her performance on the UK show. The report stated that, “RiRi loved doing the U.K. finale last year, and the feeling from Simon was obviously mutual.”
The first season of the US X Factor show is not without its controversy. Cheryl Cole’s ambition to move from the UK version of the show to the American version failed primarily due to her accent.
The show’s judges are Simon Cowell, LA Reid, Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger. The show will be hosted by Steve Jones.
