October 7, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): It is already known that one-time lovebirds Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have called it quits. But it looks like Bollywood’s bachelor no.1 does not fancy the other admirers in his former girl’s life and this became clear when Salman Khan refused to attend a special screening of Ranbir Kapoor’s latest release “Anjaana Anjaani” held in Mumbai recently. Reports in the media have been repeatedly pointing to the growing closeness between Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif ever since they first appeared together in “Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahaani” and though the duo have maintained that they are just good friends, Ranbir Kapoor’s breakup with Deepika Padukone has only added fuel to the fire.

Salman Khan’s absence from the special screening became all the more atopic of discussion when the media learnt that the event had been arranged by the actor’s father, with producer of “Anjaani Anjaani” and a very dear friend of the Khan family, Sajid Nadiadwala, playing a very important role in it. The actor, however, stated that he had prior professional commitments to take care of, thus deciding to give the film’s screening a miss.

While Salman Khan’s on-off relationship with Katrina Kaif was finally switched off following the rumors of the actress’ association with Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone too has put the blame for her failed relationship with Ranbir Kapoor on one of her beau’s co-stars. Speaking to the media in a recent interview Deepika Padukone was heard saying Ranbir dumped her for one of his co-stars. Was that a tit-for-tat Salman?
