An internet site has reported on the engagement of Kate Major, Jon Gosselin’s ex, to the father of Lindsay Lohan, Michael Lohan. It is indeed a little confusing! The fact is that Kate Gosselin, who was earlier married to Jon Gosselin is not the one who is getting engaged. Michael Lohan has proposed to Kate Major, who was with Jon Gosselin in the past. The 49 year old father of actress Lindsay Lohan said that he needed a friend in his life and Kate Major is his best friend. Confirming the news, Kate Major also reportedly issued a statement saying that she was happy with the decision and may get married later this year.

Meanwhile, Kate Gosselin is one of the contestants in the tenth season of reality show ‘Dancing with the Stars’. Even if there is speculation that she may be out of the show next week, we may get to see a lot of her in other reality shows which are still in the pipeline. With no further news of Jon Gosselin in her life, we may soon get to hear the engagement news of our very own Kate Gosselin. The fake story of Kate Gosselin’s engagement leaked out on the internet on Sunday afternoon. Speculations came to an end with the news of former tabloid reporter, Kate Major getting engaged to Michael Lohan.
