Los Angeles, Jun 17 (THAINDIAN NEWS) There are rumors that Kate Gosselin is going to star in a dating show. Apparently the whole speculation started when Jimmy Kimmel and Kelly Ripa were joking on a show that the mother of eight, now ought to star in the show ‘The Bachelorette’. Little did they know that soon this would trigger off rumors. It ought to be mentioned that Kate recently divorced from Jon Gosselin, who is also the father of her 8 children.

According to Life & Style, a source said that, “Kate’s working on a deal to do a new reality dating series on ABC.” The source also added that Kate would “likely be starring in her own series, possibly matching her with single dads.”

However on the other hand there are sources close to the recently divorced mother of eight who claim that these rumors are totally baseless. A source close to Kate claimed that, “Kate has no desire to start dating right now and has no interest in a dating show.”

However this might really be true, but not because Kate is not interested in another show, but rather because of prior commitments. She is under contract with TLC, so it is highly unlikely that she would break the contract to star in an ABC reality show.
