Is Justin Timberlake going to host SNL finale?
April 20th, 2011 - 9:07 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, April 20 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A comment on “Saturday Night Live’s” official Twitter account was promptly deleted because it obviously gave out too much information. The tweet and subsequent deletion has led to rumors that Justin Timberlake would host the finale of the show. Timberlake has hosted several sketches of the show.
The whole episode was triggered by a fan who tweeted and asked the show’s official twitter account whether Tina Fey was going to host the show’s final show this season. A reply to the question said Fey was not going to be the host. It however added that that Timberlake was available.
The tweet was later deleted but not after it had caught the attention of many people. Monsters and Critics has reported that the show’s spokesperson has not released any statement concerning the incident.
Timberlake is not new as far as hosting SNL is concerned. He had hosted several sketches of the show and caused quite a controversy when he claimed that he actually slept with his former girlfriend Britney Spears on one of the episodes of the show. That particular sketch was shown in May of 2009.
