The Harry Potter author snapped up Killiechassie House near Aberfeldy in Perthshire where she was married in 2007 for a cool 1.9 million pounds.

She then got permission to build a swimming pool with copper domes to keep prying eyes at bay.

However, that certainly wasn’t enough, for she later snapped up a neighbouring home for 440,000 pounds back in 2003 because it shared her drive, reports the Mirror.

The author, worth over 500million pounds, gave fans quite a shock recently when she revealed that Hogwarts headmaster Professor Dumbledore was gay.

Rowling made the stunning announcement at Carnegie Hall on Friday, the last day of her U.S. book tour.

Asked if the master wizard finds “true love,” Rowling told the crowd of city public school children and others, “Dumbledore is gay.”

She went on to note that the revered headmaster, who is revealed as a complex figure in the seventh and last book of the series, was infatuated with Gellert Grindelwald, his friend and later rival whom he bested in a battle between good and bad wizards. (ANI)
