Los Angeles, Feb 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Frances Reid, the celebrated actress of the American Film and Television industry, who had made her acting debut in the year 1938 is reported to be dead. According to the reports of some sources, the actress had died on Tuesday, February 3, 2010 but official confirmation regarding her death has not yet been released. None of the friends or family members of the actress had provided any information whether the actress is dead or it is a rumor. Therefore, her fans, who have been disheartened by her death news will need to have some patience for the official confirmation.

Frances Reid, who was honored with the Daytime Emmy Lifetime Achievement Award in the year 2004 had entertained the viewers with her marvelous works. The 95 year old actress, who had been a major part of the entertainment world for several decades had received multiple nominations in her career. She has been a part of the well-known soap opera named, “Days Of Our Lives”, since its introduction in the year 1965 and played the role of Alice Horton.

The fans of this celebrated actress still remember her for the portrayal of character Alice Horton. She had appeared in this role for several years and the news of her death has made her fans upset. As per the reports, she was active till the present days and had last appeared in this series on December, 2007.Though Frances Reid is best known for her charming personality in the role of Alice Horton, she had also worked in some other popular projects including “Portia Faces Life” of CBS.
