Is Emma Stone going to join ‘The Gangster Squad’?
July 28th, 2011 - 10:42 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, July 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) There are rumors abuzz that actress Emma Stone is all set to join cast of ‘The Gangster Squad’. This film is being directed by Rubin Fleisher and it is expected to release at least two years down the line.
The ‘Easy A’ star is having discussions with the team of ‘The Gangster Squad’ and if all things work out then she could star in the movie. However it ought to be mentioned here that nothing has been finalized as of now and neither there has been any official confirmation about the news.
Emma is expected to enact the character of ‘Jean’ who is entrapped in a love triangle between a negative character and a positive character, who is a cop, whose role is being essayed by actor Ryan Gosling.
Infact if things work out well and Emma does sign on the dotted line then she is going to have a relatively easy time on the sets as she is starring opposite Ryan Gosling, with whom she has already worked before in another movie – ‘Crazy, Stupid, Love.’
Besides Ryan and Emma, the other castmembers of the movie are expected to be Sean Penn, Josh Brolin, Anthony Mackie and Michael Peña.
