Is Elizabeth Taylor’s engagement to Jason Winters a publicity ploy?

Los Angeles, Apr 13 (THAINDIAN NEWS) There were reports that Dame Elizabeth Taylor has gotten engaged to be married, for the ninth time to Jason Winters. Later she denied all the engagement rumors, which are flying around these days. She said that she is not planning to marry for the ninth time at all. There had been some reports previously that Dame Elizabeth Taylor was planning to walk down the aisle with Jason Winters, who is also her manager.
According to sources, earlier she had claimed that the both of them were madly in love, and the millionaire Winters had also bought her a house in Hawaii, where they used to spend a lot of time together. Yet other sources claim that the engagement rumors can’t be true at all because Jason Winters is gay. They also go on to add that Elizabeth wanted some publicity and wanted to be in the news, because she is interested in an acting comeback. Her heart is set on playing the part of Norma Desmond, in a big budget movie, which is said to be a remake of the classic ‘Sunset Boulevard.’
And since Elizabeth Taylor also knows that she is going to have a lot of competition from Glenn Close, Meryl Streep and Barbara Streisand for the role, so she probably thought that some publicity wouldn’t hurt her chances of bagging the monumental role at all.
