Is Darren Criss going to become series regular on ‘Glee’?
November 12th, 2010 - 12:11 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Nov 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Darren Criss is rumored to be close to a deal that will see him appear more on the series “Glee”. The star is reportedly being considered for a more regular role in the series. However it is believed that that arrangement will probably begin during the next season of the show.
Meanwhile, Criss was originally billed to play a more recurring character in the current season of the show. He was expected to play Kurt’s love interest this season. Some circles however believe that Criss could still be playing a longer duration role in the current season of the show.
Criss played his first role in Dalton Academy and his portrayal as an openly gay student received a lot of recommendation. It is believed that the interest shown in him is as a result of the role he played. The impact that Criss will bring into the series remains to be seen.
The series have done better than it was expected to do. After last season’s success, the show’s second season was highly anticipated and so far it has not failed to meet the expectations of the viewers. The show has been getting favorable ratings week-in and week-out.
