Is Christopher Meloni thinking about a reunion with Law & Order SVU?
July 16th, 2012 - 10:57 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, July 16 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actor Christopher Meloni has hinted that he will consider a proposal to get him back on Law & Order: SVU. Meloni gave the indication at the True Blood panel on Saturday at the Comic-Con.
The actor left SVU last year after negotiations with the show producers fell apart. The 14th Season of the long running series is scheduled to start airing from the 26th of September.
Addressing reporters and fans at the Comic-Con, Meloni said that, “I’m always willing to consider. I had 12 great years on the show. I loved the people and I loved that character. There’s no bad blood there. We’ll just see when it comes. It’s still doing OK, I guess.”
That response followed a question from a fan of the show. He hesitated amid admitting that he will consider coming back on the show.
Meloni’s exit from the show shocked many fans. He has been on every season of the show before he left due to the contract disagreement last year. It is early days yet but some fans will really be excited at the return of the star. Maloni was on the show for 12 straight years.
