Film analysts have found uncanny similarities between Angelina Jolie and her predecessors in Hollywood, Elizabeth Taylor and Audrey Hepburn. While most may feel that Angelina Jolie cannot even be compared to the famous actresses, let alone step into their shoes, it does not prevent us from reflecting on various things which connect Angelina Jolie with Elizabeth Taylor and Audrey Hepburn. For starters, all three actresses are the biggest names in the Hollywood film world during their times, known not only for the aura that these personalities come with but also for their beauty. Unfortunately, Angelina Jolie has not been able to come anywhere close to the cinematic excellence that Elizabeth Taylor and Audrey Hepburn achieved so long ago in their careers.
While Audrey Hepburn was married to Richard Burton, the most popular actor in the 1960s and 1970s, Angelina Jolie is secure in her relationship with Brad Pitt, one of the most sought after actors of this generation. And like Audrey Hepburn, Angelina Jolie’s father too is involved in politics.
Who doesn’t know that Angelina Jolie has signed a film where she will be seen reprising the role of Cleopatra, a character almost immortalized onscreen by Liz Taylor.
