November 1, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Akshay Kumar, whose real name is Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia, is an all out believer in the factor called luck! This star is one of the biggest action hero of B-town these days, yet, the lack factor theory just doesn’t seem to be going out of his dictionary!

Recently, the star had appeared in a popular show on TV, where he was grilled about his life, past and present, by the actor, who is a well-known personality on television.

Yet coming to the point, it was on this show that Akki or Akshay Kumar confirmed the rumor that it was only after he changed his name from Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia to Akshay Kumar, that his luck seemed to have changed for the better. According to his own admission, he got his first break in movies immediately after changing his name.

However, this is not the only luck factor that the star believes in. The buzz amongst film folks is that Akshay also possesses a Thai Baht, the currency note from Bangkok, where he was employed as a cook and he had received this note as a tip from one of the customers in the restaurant he was working in. According to Akshay’s belief, this note was responsible for changing his luck completely, thus, he always treasures it, and never spends it.

Now, even if there could be some sentimental issues involved with such beliefs, but when these so-called good luck tokens do have their effect, that too positive it is only natural for anyone to become superstitious.

Well, if the rumor that action star Akshay Kumar is superstitious is true, then so be it. As long as the star is going great guns in his professional life, and giving full time entertainment to the audiences, where’s the problem?
