Is ‘Best Friendzzz’ The Bengali Version Of ‘3 Idiots’?

is the first film that introduces Mainak in an important role on the big screen. And going by his reactions, Mainak is very excited about his upcoming project where he works under the guidance of established Bengali filmmaker Swapan Saha.
Swapan Saha has given the Bengali film industry some of the biggest hits in commercial cinema. Therefore Best Friendzzz comes with a lot of promise and expectations. When he was told that It is the English title of the film that has caught the attention of the audience, Swapan Saha promptly replies that the term used as the title for his movie is a commonly used phrase even amongst people who strictly speak in only the Bengali language. Thus the filmmaker decided against replacing the phrase for his film.
Though Swapan Saha’s justification for the use of an English title sinks in, it is the three Zs that strike us. It is Mainak who comes to the defence of Swapan Saha this time, saying that the story is about three friends and therefore the three Zs! Whatever be the logic, Best Friendzzz has already struck a chord among the audience in Bengal and they are eagerly waiting for the film that also stars Biswajit, Sujjoy, Priyanka Sarkar and Priyanka Ghosh.
