Irrfan Khan: Why Is He So Proud Of His Next Hollywood Project?

Since then, we have seen Khan in many other Hollywood films like ‘The Namesake’, ‘The Darjeeling Limited’, ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, ‘New York’, ‘I Love You’, ‘Hisss’ and ‘In Treatment’. He has just finished shooting for ‘In Treatment’ and now he has got his dream role in the ‘Spiderman’ franchise. Khan has been offered to play the role of a villain in the next Spiderman movie.
Speaking about this latest Hollywood venture, Irrfan said that it is like a dream come true for being cast in this movie. However, he did not elaborate much about his role and said that he will play the new villain Proto Goblin. The latest film will also have a new director in the form of Marc Webb.
As per the international sources, Irrfan’s character Van Atter will get transformed into Proto Goblin in the film. Actress Annie Parisse is likely to play the role of his wife. Khan says that these movies keep on adding new elements to the franchise and that’s what excites him. Khan claims to have watched all the Spiderman movies and read the comics too. He adds that each new film puts new angle and new challenges thus exploiting the characters while maintaining the credibility.
Irrfan is feeling proud to be a part of such a renowned franchise and that is justified considering the popularity of Spiderman series.
