Irrfan Khan Says He Is Choosy Because His Face Does Not Sell!

Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan, who started his acting career from a serial in Doordarshan, has now become a popular face in Hollywood. However, this has not changed the actor from keeping his feet attached to the ground.
The 48-year old actor said that he has become choosy in his work because he knows that his face does not sell. Irrfan added that it is only his quality work that is loved by the people and remembered by his fans. He said that he cannot repeat himself in a typical character because people like to see variety of his work and they are not fond of his face.
The Maqbool actor said that he needs to look at the exciting stories before signing a movie because it will give him a scope to do what he has not done before. Moreover, his films should have entertainment that keeps him engaged for a long time ion shooting. He added that co-stars are also important in some films, where you need to have a good on-screen chemistry with your colleague. However, it does not matter when he does not require having chemistry with his co-star.
Irrfan has visibly developed a wonderful chemistry with his co-stars Tabu and Konkona Sen Sharma in the films Maqbool, The Namesake and Life In A Metro. Now, he has done the same with his upcoming movie Yeh Saali Zindagi by Sudhir Mishra. Unconventional beauty Chitrangada Singh is his co-star in the film and Irrfan said that he has again developed a wonderful chemistry with yet another co-star. Speaking about the film, Khan added that it is a love story in the guise of a thriller and unlike the title the movie takes a mesmerising look at life.
