May 7, (THANIDIAN NEWS)- Today the Robert Downey Jr- Gwyneth Paltrow starer ‘Iron Man 2′ gets its global release. The hype surrounding the film is massive and the experts are thinking that it will do well in the box office riding on the hype initially. The sequel has to live up to the expectation of the viewers who loved the first Iron Man movie. The plot has several turns and twists and the characters are also more engaging. The film will offer the viewers wholesome entertainment as the majority of the critics feel though a part of is appeal lies in its awesome special effects.

The viewers are likely to adore the two new characters introduced in the sequel to ‘Iron Man’. The critics are divided in their opinions regarding how much he film will gross at the domestic and international box office. The hopeful ones are saying that its opening week collections may touch that of ‘The Dark Knight’.

The film ‘Iron Man 2′ has got a rating of 69 in the site Rotten Tomatoes. It is quite likely that Robert Downey Jr will seal the show with his daredevil actions and showmanship. However, a fair amount of attention will go to Scarlet Johansson who has done a sizzling spy act in the film. The success of the film means a lot to director Jon Favreau whose position will be consolidated if the sequel to Iron Man also clicks with the viewers. The industry experts are of the opinion that a third movie in the franchisee will also be made if the sequel turns out to be a hit.
