Los Angeles, Apr 27, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Hordes of Hollywood super stars flocked at the red carpet of the El Capitan Theater on yesterday evening to witness the premiere of the sequel to the American super-hero flick, “Iron Man”. The movie, which marks the second venture of the Iron Man saga titled as “Iron Man 2″ is regarded as one of the most awaited film of the year. Although initial reviews have billed the movie as a “dull” one, still the hype surrounding the action hero flick had spurned out quite a fair amount of attention in the media.

It was an all star-studded evening at the El Capitan Theater as Hollywood honchos flocked in to attend the premiere of the much awaited flick. The protagonist of the movie, Robert Downey Jr. and his co-star Gwyneth Paltrow gained a fair amount of attention at the red carpet. Robert Downey Jr. dons the character of Tony Stark who also happens to be “Iron Man”, the protagonist of the movie. The appearance of Scarlett Johnson, who also stars in the movie also gained a fair amount of attention from the media as well as the fans of the star.

“Iron Man 2″, the sequel to the much successful “Iron Man” will hit the theaters on May 7. The initial reports that have surfaced soon after the premiere of “Iron Man 2″ is that the movie has disastrously failed to live up to the expectations. It has been billed as “mind numbingly dull” and “chaotic” by some of the news paper. Only time will tell whether the movie becomes a box office hit or turns out to be another flop show.
