Los Angeles, Mar 12, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The former model Irina Krupnik has been making news these days. This time the glamorous model is making news not for any of her achievements but for suing the Universal Pictures Co. and NBC Universal for using one of her pictures. It has been reported that the former supermodel, who works as a makeup artist nowadays, was extremely disappointed when she came to know that the famous comedy movie of 2009, “Couple’s Retreat” has used her picture without her permission.

According to the reports, the former supermodel was unaware of the fact that the comedy movie has used one of her pictures in which she was sporting a bikini. The reports indicate that the model came to know about the usage of her picture when one of her clients told her that they could identify her from the movie. It has been reported that Irina Krupnik was taken aback when she came to know that Vince Vaughn’s movie has made the use of her picture without obtaining the legal rights to do so. The model, who was enraged by the act did not waste any time and appointed lawyer for filing a defamation case against the makers of the movie. Reports indicate that she had filed a ten million dollars legal suit for using her photograph in a scene of the movie.

As per the reports, Thomas Mullaney, the attorney of Irina Krupnik said that the usage of her picture in the movie was unacceptable. The attorney who did not appreciate the way the filmmakers had treated the photograph of the former supermodel remarked the entire incident as a “…trashy way to treat somebody.”
