New Delhi, June 2 (IANS) Joining the league of the national multiplex chain, PVR Cinemas which is also involved in film production, Inox Leisure Ltd is following suit with its own banner and a new film.
The new arm Inox Motion pictures is ready for its debut release “Morning Walk” June 26.
Directed by Arup Dutta, the film stars Anupam Kher, Sharmila Tagore, Rajit Kapoor, Divya Dutta, and model-turned-actor Shayan Munshi. Child actor Avika Gor from hit TV serial “Balika Vadhu” also makes her screen debut with the film.
“Inox Motion Pictures was started with the endeavour to make films that offer quality entertainment to all… ‘Morning Walk’ marks our foray into production and we have ensured that the film appeals to family audiences,” Alok Tandon, Director, Inox Motion Pictures said in a statement released here Tuesday.
Currently operating 27 multiplexes and 97 screens in 20 cities across the country, the parent group has also distributed hits like “Fashion”, “Race”, “Jab We Met”, “Heyy Babyy”, “Om Shanti Om”, “Namastey London”, “Rang De Basanti”, and “Garam Masala”, besides others.
