Injured ‘Spider-Man’ stunt actor to leave rehab on Wednesday
January 3rd, 2011 - 5:17 pm ICT by ANIWashington, Jan 3 (ANI): A stunt actor, who got injured during a performance of Broadway’s ‘Spider-Man’ musical, will be released from a rehabilitation centre on Wednesday.
Christopher Tierney’s family said that he would continue treatment in New York, reports Contactmusic.
The 31-year-old actor was moved into an inpatient rehab facility in New York on December 30 after being discharged from Bellevue Hospital.
Tierney fell from a ledge during a stunt of ‘Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark’ on 20 December.
He suffered several broken ribs, a fractured elbow, a bruised lung, three fractured vertebrae and a cracked skull, and subsequently underwent back surgery. (ANI)
