Inglourious Basterds receives 10 nominations at Critics’ Choice Movie Awards
December 15th, 2009 - 4:39 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )London, December 15 (ANI): Quentin Tarantino’s film ‘Inglourious Basterds’ has received 10 nominations at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards.
Movie musical ‘Nine’ has also bagged the same number of nominations from Broadcast Film Critics Association.
Both films will compete for Best Picture prize against ‘Avatar’, ‘An Education’, ‘The Hurt Locker’, ‘Invictus’, ‘Precious’, ‘A Serious Man’, ‘Up’, and ‘Up in the Air’, reports The Daily Star.
Meanwhile, George Clooney is up for the Best Actor for his role in Up in the Air, apart from Jeff Bridges for ‘Crazy Heart’.
Also, Colin Firth for his character in ‘A Single Man’ has been nominated.
Tarantino has been nominated for Best Director for his film.
The awards will take place on 15 January (09) in Los Angeles. (ANI)
