‘Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull’, the fourth film in the famous Indiana Jones franchise, has emerged as the most anticipated movie of 2008 in the survey.

The movie marks Ford’s reunion with director Steven Spielberg and producer George Lucas for the first time since 1989. It is scheduled for release in May 2008.

The details of the film’s plot are being kept under wraps, reports the BBC.

Second among the most anticipated movies was Batman sequel ‘The Dark Knight’, followed by Nicolas Cage’s ‘National Treasure: Book of Secrets’ on the third position.

Crime drama ‘American Gangster’, scheduled for US release in November this year, came in fourth in the poll of 2,000 people by the MovieTickets.com website.

On the fifth place was ‘The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian’, which is the follow-up to the hit film ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’, released in 2005. (ANI)
