I’m bisexual, says Anna Paquin

London, April 02 (ANI): Anna Paquin has disclosed she is a bisexual in a public service announcement video for gay rights.
The video is a part of the ‘Give A Damn’ equal rights campaign.
“I’m Anna Paquin. I’m bisexual and I give a damn,” the Telegraph quoted Paquin as saying onscreen, during a private taping in Los Angeles.
Also, celebrities including, Sir Elton John, Clay Aiken, Whoopi Goldberg, Wanda Sykes and Sharon Osbourne, have made an appearance in the clip.
Paquin further added: “One hate crime is committed approximately every hour of every day in this country.”
Meanwhile, ‘The Piano’ star’s confession lead to an unexpected number of people logging into the giveadamn.org website, making it crash.
A message on the site read: “Ok - we didn’t expect THIS kind of traffic!”
Paquin became the second youngest Oscar-winner in history when she was named best supporting actress aged 11 for her role in ‘The Piano’. (ANI)
