Illness makes Whitney Houston to postpone UK tour
April 7th, 2010 - 6:05 pm ICT by ANILondon, April 07 (ANI): Whitney Houston’s has been forced to postpone her opening tour because of illness.
The veteran singer was due to begin the European leg of her ‘Nothing But Love’ jaunt in Paris, France on Tuesday (06Apr10).
But after being diagnosed with upper respiratory infection she had to postpone the opening dates of her UK tour.
Doctors have asked her to take rest.
“Deeply regrets having been forced to postpone the show”. She is expected to return to the French capital for a rescheduled gig, Houston said.
Her fans in Australia complained that the star had breathing problems while performing which increases concerns for her health.
Her lawyer apparently denies the claims that Houston was back on drugs and facing a stint in rehab.
Houston will kick start the tour on Thursday in Manchester, reports The Daily Star. (ANI)
