Ilaiyaraaja discontent with ONV Kurup’s lyrics
November 23rd, 2009 - 7:47 pm ICT by Sampurn Wire ( Leave a comment )Top music composer Ilaiyaraaja who has given the music for Pazhassi Raja, recently faced flak for it as audiences feel that this wasn’t the best of his work and was a major letdown, even though the songs are chart-scorchers. At the music launch of the Tamil version, the maestro stated that he felt the lyrics by ONV Kurup weren’t up to the mark, unlike the lyricist’s usual work. Because of the lyrics, his music hasn’t been able to be that good.
