New York, March 5 (ANI): Supermodel Naomi Campbell has broken her silence for the first time since she was accused of whacking her driver.
The catwalk queen issued a statement shortly after the driver, Miodrag Mejdina, apologized for claiming that Campbell assaulted her.
“I have worked very hard on correcting my previous wrongdoings and I will not be held hostage to my past,” the New York Daily News quoted Campbell as saying in a statement.
“I am pleased the driver has apologized. I would like to put the last few days behind me and move on,” she added.
Mejdina’s lawyer issued a statement in which the driver blamed himself for a ‘misunderstanding.’ (ANI)
